EXECUTION: Forming part of a strategic move to increase their support of and presence in music , Optus partnered with Splendour in the Grass to push boundaries and innovate the way fans experience music.
In a Splendour first, Secret Sounds Connect and Optus delivered an exclusive content series following the journey of one of Australia’s most influential hip hop artists ‘Illy’ to his main stage performance at the festival.
The four piece content series was delivered entirely in 360- degree virtual reality, taking fans behind the scenes in a fully immersive experience , sharing intimate moments with the artist.
Secret Sound Connect secured the third party clearances and licencing to Illy’s #1 ARIA Chart Single ‘Papercuts’ featuring emerging talent Vera Blue to feature in the final performance edits.
