CAMPAIGN: Rimmel at Splendour in the Grass

EXECUTION: In celebration of their first year as exclusive makeup partner of Splendour in the Grass, Rimmel activated The Rimmel Room. Conducting a record 2,200 makeovers over the 3-day festival, patrons selected their ultimate festival looks which were applied by professional make-up artists for free!
Make-up tutorials – ‘The Rimmel Sessions’, were held twice daily, participants learnt how to apply the latest make-up trends by some of Australia’s best make-up technicians.
For maximum exposure amongst Splendour’s 32,500 patrons we worked with Rimmel on developing a booking service via the official Splendour in the Grass mobile app, along with social posts on Splendour’s Facebook (275,000 + followers), Twitter and via eDM.
We also created a series of fun content pieces amongst all the buzz within The Rimmel Room, which included live interviews with musicians such as Nicole Millar, Emma Louise and Banoffee discussing their favorite beauty tips.
